Do you ship?

We begin nationwide shipping cookies on December 4th, 2023.

How long does it take to receive my cookie shipment?

All cookie orders are baked and shipped on Tuesdays, via USPS Priority, which takes 1-3 days depending on where you are shipping to. We are located in California.

What is your shipping policy?

Shipments can only be delivered to a street address within the United States. Sugar Blossom Bake Shop is not responsible for delays in delivery times due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

Shipments that are returned or require rerouting due to incorrect addresses will be subject to additional charges for reshipment and/or relabeling for the USPS. We kindly ask that you review your address for accuracy before submitting your order.

Shipping charges will not be refunded for late deliveries in the event the business is closed or if the recipient is not available to receive the package when delivered.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the contents of the package are stored in an airtight container, refrigerator, or freezer promptly after delivery (see cookie care card insert)

Estimated delivery timelines do not take unexpected weather or carrier delays into consideration, which may affect shipping and arrival dates.

Sugar Blossom Bake Shop is not responsible for delays due to weather conditions or other causes beyond our control.

For order cancellation or modification requests, please email us at immediately. We will do our best to accommodate your needs, however, such requests may not be possible due to the order processing and production schedule.

Sugar Blossom Bake Shop is not responsible for any delayed, lost, or damaged packages during shipping. Any issues with delayed, lost or damaged packages should be taken up with the USPS.

How far in advance should I place my custom cake or dessert order?

Designing custom cakes is our passion, and we book up quickly. We typically require at least 7-10 days advance notice, but highly recommend 2 weeks.

I would like to order one of your Artisan cakes from your website. How soon should I place my order?

You have great taste! If you are ordering a cake for Friday, Saturday or Sunday, we need your order in no later than Tuesday by noon, PST. If you need it by Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, please order no later than Saturday by noon. Weekend orders tend to book up fast.

Do you have ready-made cakes available?

Our bakery has ready-made 6" cakes available every day on a first-come, first-served basis. Please call 949-429-5555 or stop by for availability. 

How far in advance should I place an order for your daily made cupcakes, cookies & cinnamon rolls? 

You are always welcome inside our bakery to directly buy from us. If that isn't an option, we ask that you please order 24-48 hours in advance. When placing your order, please take into consideration that we are closed on Mondays. Remember to include your pickup date & time in the checkout notification. Weekend orders tend to book up fast.

​I am planning my wedding. How do I start the process to order our wedding cake and how far in advance should I book?

 The first step in ordering your wedding cake with us is to schedule a cake tasting. Cake tastings are set up for two guests to enjoy, with an option to add on two additional guests for an extra charge.


We highly recommend starting the process one year in advance, especially now that venues are opening back up. With that said, 4 to 6 months' advance notice is preferred.

Live out of town? We are happy to begin the process by email.

What is your cancellation/refund policy?

Cake orders - We require a minimum of one week's cancellation notice for all custom cake orders. You will be issued a store credit to go towards a future order.

Wedding/large cake orders - Your 50% deposit is nonrefundable. If the event is canceled, your 50% deposit may be used as store credit.

Due to the current times, we will do what we can to accommodate your needs. Please call us and we will do our best to help you in your time of need.

​What's the best way to transport our cake?

Place your cake on a flat surface such as a trunk or floorboard. Whatever you do, do not set your boxed or unboxed cake in a seat or lap, as it will tilt and become unstable.

How should I store my cake? Does it need to be refrigerated?

Our cakes are chilled upon pick-up. However, if you plan on serving your cake the next day, refrigeration is recommended. Take out 1-2 hours before serving, to enjoy at room temperature.

How do I know how big of a cake I need?

Servings are based on party-size 1½" x 2" slices, with four layers of cake, and three layers of filling. We recommend the following sizes/servings:

4" serves 1-4

6" serves 10-12

8" serves  12-20

10" serves up to 28

12" serves up to 40

Our cakes are best served at room temperature!

​Do you use separate equipment for products with possible allergens?

Although we take strict precautions, we are not a nut-free kitchen, and use shared equipment. 

​Do you make gluten-free and vegan baked goods?

At this time we offer either gluten-free or Vegan baked goods, but not combined.

​How fresh are your baked goods?

Our cakes are made with natural ingredients and are baked fresh every day. Each cake is our unique creation and outrageously delicious.

​Where are you located?

Our address is 204 Avenida Del Mar Suite F, San Clemente, CA 92672. However, our bakery's storefront is not "on" Avenida Del Mar, but on Ola Vista. We are behind Avila's El Ranchito & BeachFire, where outdoor patio seating is located. 

Parking- You can park on Ola Vista or in the parking lot next to The Always Inn.

Do you deliver?

We offer local delivery within a 10-mile radius for large orders for an additional fee.

Please find us on DoorDash for all other deliveries.​
